Clovis, New Mexico -
CURRY COUNTY -- Curry County Sheriffs deputies arrested a 16-year-old male, charging him with 6 counts of burglary.
On August 2, Sheriffs deputies executed a search warrant at the juveniles residence, located on Mississippi Street, south of Clovis. Deputies located and recovered cell phones, computers, data storage, gaming consoles and various knives and weapons.
These items were all taken during 6 separate residential burglaries south of Clovis, and have an estimated value of $3000. The burglaries occurred from the later part of July through August 1st.
One of the stolen items, an iPad tablet computer, had an installed tracking app. This app provided the deputies with the current geographical location of the stolen tablet.
The suspect was charged and booked into the Curry County Juvenile Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
