Bushland ISD is on a 6,000 square foot mission to support their growing agriculture program.
Last spring voters approved a $8.5 million bond.
$450,000 of that will be spent on a new bus port and on the new agriculture barn.
The new facility is designed to house stock show animals for students.
We caught up with a fellow showman and Bushland student and he's excited for the new addition.
Ian Cannon says, "it will allow us to get our animals out of our metal fabrication barn into somewhere else that will allow us to do with the animals what we can, exercise them, ya know, feed them more."
The Bushland Superintendent tells us the construction will be finished in plenty of time for the next stock show season, which is in December.
