White House Looks To Revamp Phone Surveillance

-
The White House is considering four options for revamping the NSA's phone surveillance operation.

According to the Wall Street Journal, three of the choices involve running all the data through outside entities like the phone companies or other government agencies.

The fourth option, abolish the program altogether.

President Obama announced plans to reform the agency after leaks by former contractor Edward Snowden raised privacy concerns over the NSA's surveillance programs.
