A possible game-changer for the Washington Redskins.

The US Patent Office cancelled the NFL team's trademark registration saying it is disparaging to Native Americans.

The move can't stop the team from using its Redskin logo, but now you can use it too, for free.

Oneida Indian Nation and the National Congress of American Indians are praising the move.

Both groups have rallied to get the National Football team to change its name because they view it as offensive and demeaning to native people.

An appeal of the decision is expected.
