STATE COLLEGE, PENNSYLVANIA -- Penn State University reached a multi-million dollar settlement with 26 of the victims of former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.

In total, the men will receive $59.7 million. This settlement does not include legal fees, and each victim is not entitled to the same amount.

The university says the funds will not come from student tuition or fees. They are from insurance and other sources.

Sandusky is serving 30 to 60 years after being convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse last year.

Sandusky's own adopted son is among those who reached settlements with the university.
