(NBC News) Two titans in cable, TV and internet want to join forces.
Comcast has announced that it plans to buy Time Warner Cable for $45.2-billion in stock.
The deal, which would impact a combined 33 million subscribers, would make Comcast the nation's largest cable and internet provider.
