January Was 4th Warmest On Record
Frigid temperatures remain across most of the country.
It may be hard to believe, considering the winter storms we've seen, but January was the fourth warmest since 1880.
NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, says the combined average temperature globally was 54.8 degrees.
That's warmer than average.
They also say that while the eastern half of the US fell below the average temperature it was not a record cold.
