Researchers from New York University's "Dirty Money Project" found that there are hundreds of bacteria lying all over our cash.
Most people we spoke to said it's not surprising because of how many hands those bills actually go through. Some even admitted that they're not even thinking about it.
"You think about all the hands that it goes into and drops on the ground; picks it up and hands it over to the next person. Money is dirty, very dirty," says Kelli Seideman.
