Big changes coming to Delta Airlines' frequent flyer program.
The carrier will soon base frequent flyer rewards on the fares customers actually pay instead of the miles they travel.
The airline says the new structure will allow for greater flexibility when redeeming miles.
The move seems to be a way to cater to it's biggest spending customers, including corporate travelers.
The changes take effect starting in 2015.
