Court Eyes "Buffer Zones"

(NBC News)  Two hot issues: free speech and abortion collided at the Supreme Court Wednesday.

The question is whether a Massachusetts law that creates a buffer zone around abortion clinics violates the constitution.

A majority of Supreme Court justices appeared skeptical of the law that establishes the 35-foot buffer zone to prevent protests outside clinics that provide abortions.

It's a restriction the protesters say violates the first amendment.
