Back to Work

-
(NBC News) President Obama returned to Washington Monday morning, cutting short a Martha's Vineyard vacation overshadowed by the escalating military action in Iraq.

The President informed Congress he's authorized new air strikes to protect a dam in Mosul, saying civilians and U.S. assets will be endangered if it falls to ISIS terrorists.

Republicans and Democrats alike are backing the President, but want more answers. "

We're missing a critical question here which is, 'What is our mission? What is the United States mission? What are we trying to accomplish here?'" says Rep. Tulsi Gabbar of Hawaii.
