Airlines Rake In Billions From Baggage Fees


All the baggage fees we have to pay when we fly are adding up to big bucks!

Airliners raked in a whopping $3.3-billion from these fees alone in 2013.

That's according to new numbers from the Bureau of Transportation statistics.

The agency reports Delta earned the most money from baggage fees last year, $833-million-dollars.

Followed by United Airlines, US Airways, American Airlines and Spirit Airlines.

The Bureau reports reservation fees were also a big money maker for the airlines last year, earning them another $2.8-billion.
