Moore County Commissioners Vote to Enact Burn Ban

MOORE COUNTY -- Moore County Commissioners voted this morning to enact a burn ban that starts March 26.

There are 17 counties currently with a burn ban in the Texas Panhandle. 

They are: Moore, Hutchinson, Roberts, Hemphill, Oldham, Potter, Carson, Gray, Wheeler, Deaf Smith, Randall, Armstrong, Donley, Collingswoth, Parmer, Castro, and Childress county.

There are currently no burn bans in effect in New Mexico or Oklahoma.
