LUBBOCK - Officers with the Lubbock Police Department were dispatched to a reported shooting at the South Plains Mall late Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported just before 6:00 p.m.
According to Kasie Whitley, an LPD public information officer, officers have not located a victim and the suspect(s) are believed to have left the mall.
Officers are working to secure the mall as the investigation is ongoing. The mall remains on lockdown at this time.

Although authorities have not confirmed, witnesses to the incident said the incident began as a fight inside the Footaction store. It then spilled outside the store into the mall corridor where shots were fired.
Lubbock Police said there have not been any reported injuries at the moment.
Ashley Knox, South Plains Mall Marketing Manager, released the following statement:
