AMARILLO -- Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, strength and health, but it doesn't have to take away her self confidence.
That's why the American Cancer Society is helping women going through cancer look good and feel better.
They're hosting a program that teaches beauty techniques to women in active treatment to help them combat the side effects of cancer treatment.
The next session will be on Monday from 5:30 p.m., to 7:30 p.m. at Texas Oncology center on Coutler.
Beauty professionals will be on hand to teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetic and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry.
