Summer Hydration

As we head into the summer heat, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offers tips to stay cool. Family Consumer Science Agent, Jackie Farrell, says water is best to keep our bodies in top shape.

Farrell says fruits and vegetables are key as well, because they have at least 70% to 90% water in them.

You can also add flavor to your water by adding fruits and vegetables. Farrell also says tea and coffee are okay as long as you don't consume a large amount because of the caffeine.
