AMARILLO -- Seven grant programs are getting less money for the next fiscal year.

Thats according to council members.

They approved nearly $1.5-million for the Texas Department Of State Health Services.

Officials say it's a two-percent decrease in funding from the current year.

They say fewer dollars are being appropriated on state and federal levels.
