Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas

Finding the perfect Christmas gift can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially this late in the game.

So to help decrease the anxiety level you might be feeling right now, here's a look at some local options for last minute Christmas shoppers.

Christmas is right around the corner and some are still feeling the pressure.

"They come in with the panic look on their face," said Amy-Beth Morrison, Owner of Et Cetera

"It is kind of the stereotype. A lot of the guys wait until that very last minute, including Christmas eve," said Kasey Tam, Owner & Operator of the Nat Antiques & Collectibles.

"Lot of friends that come in town at the last minute," said Kent Harris, Blue Sage Art Gallery.

But no worries, several local shops are here to help.

For the owner of "Et Cetera," she tells us selection is what makes their store so unique.

"We go from baby gifts to children's toys to china, fine jewelry. You know a lot of people at the last minute are picking up little pieces of fine jewelry for that someone special," said Morrison.

When shopping for the history buff in your life, look no further than the Nat Antiques and Collectibles.

Just like "Et Cetera," the shop has a little bit of everything inside.

But you end up leaving with something more.

"Probably over 70% has a story. A lot of our vendors are either makers, so there's where you get your story or it's an antique item that's gonna have a past. It's kinda nice it kind of gives an extra you know little bonus to your everyday gift," said Tam.

If you're shopping for someone whose more hands on or hard to shop for, then how about buying a gift that's a little bit of both.

Pottery class at Blue Sage Art Gallery. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

"Here right around the holiday's people will buy the classes for a family member and they just love that, so you can learn to make it also," said Harris.

But if you want to skip the mess, you can.

"Our store is really great because they're hand-made gifts. They're one of a kind, everything here that myself and my wife make our one of a kind items, mugs, and bowls," said Harris.

Whether you want your gift already wrapped, to come with a story or handmade; It's all possible, even for the last minute shopper.

The store owners tell us their items range from affordable to higher end.

So you can find any last minute gift within your price range without breaking the bank.
