AMARILLO -- It's nick-named, "The Kissing Bug" and it has been found as close as Lubbock.

The bug can spread Chagas disease.

Chagas is caused by a parasite. Which the bug can transfer to people.

It can be deadly but is treatable.

Keeping kissing bugs out of your bed is simple, too.

Pest control treatments will kill them.

They're called the kissing bug because they typically bite people around mouths.
