It was a day for homemade goodies at the Amarillo Art Institute, from the ice cream all the way down to the bowls.
The third annual Ice Cream Social, and 10 ten years of art excellence birthday celebration rocked the institute for two hours.
20 dollars at the door got participants all the homemade ice cream, handmade bowls, and all the birthday cake they could stomach.
Board Member Sally Emerson says, "we try to make this an all Amarillo home grown event. so it's all homemade ice cream and hand made beautiful bowls."
The social was capped off by a performance courtesy of the Boxcar Bandits.
