AUSTIN -- A former Palo Duro football player is now facing sexual assault charges in Austin.

Montrel Meander and Kendall Sanders are accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a dorm room last month.

Court documents show the two texted each other about getting their stories straight before being interviewed by police.

Sanders is also facing other charges for improper photography.

Both have been suspended from the Texas Longhorn football team.

If convicted, both could face up to 20-years in prison.
