Former Officer of the Year Will Not Face Charges

-

AMARILLO -- Former Amarillo Police Officer of the Year Dewayne Griffin will not face any charges following an internal investigation into missing pills from evidence.

A Randall County grand jury decided to no-bill Griffin today.

This despite prosecutors saying they believe Griffin was responsible for the missing pills and say that his resignation from the department came after he failed a polygraph test during the investigation.
