Former NFL Quarterback Terry Bradshaw Competes in 2017 AQHA Select World Championship

AMARILLO - 14 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, 4 Super Bowl titles, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, Terry Bradshaw came to Amarillo Saturday to compete in the 2017 AQHA Select World Championship.

For 9 years, Bradshaw has been involved with the AQHA Select World Championship.

"I'm a halter, weanling halter Philly, weanling halter gelding. It's so much fun to bring the family together and show horses and once again it's all about competition, not so much winning, but meeting all your friends," Terry Bradshaw, said.

Bradshaw likes Amarillo for just being the town it is.

"It's a beautiful, beautiful city and people are sweet and kind, it's a horse town, cattle town, it's a good Texas town," Bradshaw explained.

We asked Bradshaw what he loved or showing horses? He explained he loves football more, but because of the sport and the money he has earned he was able to buy a ranch and get involved with horses. Bradshaw retired from football more than 30 years ago, but you can catch him on FOX NFL Sunday.

This is a family affair. Bradshaw said his daughter, son-in-law, and wife are all involved in showing and riding horses.
