Texting: Tighter Family Bonds
(WFLA) Critics of texting have said for years that the technology ruins communication. But, a new University of Nebraska study says the opposite.
Researchers found that families talk more often over texts and in turn, get closer.
"It's made our relationship better because we talk more," Brenda Fredrickson said. "My daughter lives in Philadelphia and she's a nurse so she can't talk at work but she can send me quick text."
The study found that the family member who people text most is their mom.
