NEW YORK -- Experts report they have pinpointed eleven new genes linked to late-onset Alzheimer's disease.

An international team of scientists analyzed genetic data from more than 25,000 Alzheimer's patients and more than 49,000 people without the disease.

Experts say the findings provide a wider view of genetic factors that contribute to Alzheimer's. And it also increases the understanding of the disease.
