AMARILLO -- The cutting edge program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center "SiMCentral" will soon have a new place to call home.

Thanks to a huge gift from the Laura Bush Institute for Women's Health.

They gave the program $100,000 today to build a new building for the program.

SiMCentral provides realistic simulation research on human patient simulators for students and even current doctors.

SiMCentral is a collaboration with Texas Tech University, West Texas A&M University, and Amarillo College.

Allied health students are also allowed to take part in the program.
