Research and advocacy group "Autism Speaks" is teaming up with Google to build the largest autism genome database to date.
The initiative is called "The Autism Speaks Ten-Thousand Genomes Program."
It will combine extensive DNA databases with cloud storage technology on the Google cloud platform.
The goal is to provide researchers access to huge amounts of genetic data to speed research efforts.
