Footprints in the Snow Lead to Arrests

AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police arrest two people in connection to an auto burglary after following tracks in the snow to find them. 

29-year-old Shaman Cooper and 23-year-old Jennifer Jones were arrested.

Jones was arrested for a misdemeanor theft warrant out of Gray County.

Cooper was arrested for burglary of a motor vehicle and an outstanding warrant.

The auto burglary happened at the Motel Six parking lot near I-40 and Grand, last night around 11:30.

A witness said one of the suspects were taking items from a car and putting them inside a nearby pickup and left.

Police were able to trace the footprints to the room where the suspects were. 

The pickup was reported stolen out of Pampa.
