AMARILLO -- Amarillo Police say illegal gambling was happening at the "Blue Room" on 10th street near South Adams.

Officials say the business had slot machines and other gambling consoles.

During their investigation, employees said stolen merchandise and drugs were being sold there, too.

Officials say people also would use their food stamps to buy snacks in exchange for gambling credits.

A US Attorney document links 35-year-old Johnny Bustos Jr. to the investigation.

He was arrested back in October and charged with  drug posession and more.

Officers also say they found $33,000 in cash inside his car.
