First Hearing Tomorrow For Proposed Amarillo Tax Increase

AMARILLO -- Amarillo City Council members are going over a proposed tax increase.
Officials have their first hearing tomorrow.
They're proposing raising property taxes a half percent which totals about $5.80 more per year.
Officials say they it's to hire seven police officers and more staff at animal management and welfare.
