The US job market got a boost in February.

According to the US Labor Department, employers added 175,000 jobs up from 129,000 in January.

The strongest hiring came from professional and business services industries, which include accountants, architects and technology workers.

But as the labor force grew, so did the number of unemployed.

The nation's unemployment rate rose slightly to 6.7-percent, up from 6.6-percent in January.
