FBI Director Confirms Trump Probe

FBI Director James Comey testified before the House Intelligence Committee today, dismissing President Trump's Twitter Claims that President Obama Had Trump Tower wiretapped.

"I Have No Information That Supports Those Tweets. And We Have Looked Carefully Inside The Fbi." Comey testified

During the questioning, California Democratic Represenative Adam Schiff asked the FBI director about President Obama's ability to order a wire tap.

"President Obama Couldn't Order A Wiretap Of Anyone?" asked Schiff
"No President Could." replied Comey

Speaking before The House Intelligence Committee, Director Comey confirmed that the FBI is investigating Russian involvement in the 2016 election.

The FBI investigation includes ties between Russia and The President himself.

"That includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the trump campaign and Russian government - and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia's efforts." said Director Comey

Before the hearing started President Trump tried to undercut those allegations by writing on Twitter, "Democrats made up and pushed the Russian story as an excuse for running a terrible campaign."

When the hearing ended The White House stood its ground.

"You Can Continue To Look For Something - But Continuing To Look For Something That Doesn't Exist - Doesn't Matter." said White house Press Secretary, Sean Spicer

Also being looked into are the ongoing intelligence leaks of classified information, an issue the President has repeatedly said should be investigated.

"This Can Be Deterred And It's Deterred By Locking People Up." stated Comey

Investigation into leaks, Russia, the Trump campaign and how they all fit together.
