Today, the Environmental Protection Agency will propose major cuts to power plant air pollution.

That's according to a source at the EPA.

The measure would require power plants to reduce carbon emissions 30 percent by the year 2030.

Some opponents say the proposal will kill jobs in the coal industry.

But the White House says it's not good for the environment.
