Eastridge students will build a hoop house greenhouse Monday and Tuesday, adding to the school's current garden and greenhouse project.

This new addition is funded from a grant from Xcel Energy. The High Plains Institue for Applied Ecology applied for and was awarded the grant for the hoop house.

The garden project has been a combined effort of Eastridge Elementary, Snack Pak 4 Kids and Eastridge Baptist Chruch. The garden and greenhouse at Eastridge allows families to plant and harvest produce and students use it to learn science lessons and gardening skills.
