AMARILLO –- During a traffic stop Monday, DPS seized over 360 pounds of marijuana valued at almost $164,000.
At 10:54 p.m., a DPS trooper pulled over Ashley N Kubatzke, 24, and Bradley T Monson, 25, for a traffic violation, near Conway in Carson County.
During the traffic stop, the trooper discovered 15 bundles of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle.
Kubatzke and Monson were placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony, and booked into the Carson County Jail.
The illegal drugs were allegedly being transported from Tucson, Arizona to Rockford, Illinois.
