DPS Trooper Seize Meth and Cash During Saturday Traffic Stop

AMARILLO – During a traffic stop Saturday, DPS seized over two pounds of methamphetamine valued at over $75,000 and almost $54,000 in cash.

At 6:02 p.m., a DPS trooper pulled over a 2006 Toyota Camry traveling westbound on I-40, for a traffic violation, near Conway in Carson County.

During the traffic stop, the trooper discovered two bundles of methamphetamine and six bundles of cash in the vehicle.

40-year-old Anna Marie Gulart and 35-year-old Veronica Ramos Delgado were placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, money laundering, a third degree felony, unlawful use of a criminal instrument, a state jail felony, and booked into the Carson County Jail.
