Amarillo, Texas -
AMARILLO –- During a traffic stop Saturday on I-40, DPS seized over two pounds of hashish valued at over $20,000.
At 1:15 a.m., a DPS trooper pulled over 39-year-old Pourang Goodarzisetodeh in a 2013 Honda Accord traveling eastbound on I-40, for a traffic violation, near Conway in Carson County.
During the traffic stop, the trooper discovered three bundles of hash in the trunk.
Goodarzisetodeh was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance over 400 grams, a first-degree felony, and booked into the Carson County Jail.
The illegal drugs were allegedly being transported from Irvine, Calif. to Austin, Texas.
An official said a small plane crashed shortly after takeoff.
