AMARILLO -- DPS troopers, inspectors and investigators participated in intensified commercial vehicle inspections from June 3 – June 5 as part of Roadcheck 2014.
Roadcheck 2014 is a nationwide three-day enforcement effort to increase motor carrier, vehicle, driver and cargo safety and security.
The majority of these inspections involved two units; so out of the 178 inspections completed, in actuality, there were approximately 325 vehicles inspected. Also inspected were several single unit vehicles such as dump trucks and solid waste vehicles as well.

Level II inspections – 64
Total violations – 751
