By Sheryl Proctor
CLOVIS -- Money talks in Curry County today including a possible tax increase.
An increase of .25 is what's being discussed.
Officials say that amounts to about $139 extra per household.
They say the increase is needed to replace low funds, create more space for more administration employees, and money for the Curry County jail.
In all, they expect to get around $2-million in revenue.
They're holding a public meeting next month to discuss it further.
