Amarillo, Texas -
AMARILLO -- Memorial Day weekend brought with it some much needed rain for the high plains.
According to the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, crops in and around our area have greatly improved from last weekends rain.
Because the rains came slowly for six days straight, the moisture had time to soak in.
Officials say this is great for farmers who are looking to plant new crops.
