Clovis Police Looking for Shooting Suspect After Man Shot in Leg

On Tuesday afternoon, Clovis Police responded to a report of an injured subject on the 500 block of Wallace Street. 

After arriving, Clovis Police found a 46-year-old man with a wound to his left thigh. The wound appeared to be an entrance and exit wound. The 46 year old male victim was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The victim was interviewed, relaying that he had been shot by a Gabrielle Carver. According to the victim, he had been confronted by Carver, who pulled a "sawed off" rifle on him, then shot him.

An arrest warrant for Aggravated Battery, a third degree felony, has been issued for Gabrielle Carver.
