A water main break at the downtown facility happened overnight Friday, flooding the basement with about three feet of water.
Crews were already scheduled to work on fixing the first civic center flood when the second occurred.
The first happened Wednesday night.
The second occurred in the overnight hours today.
With water covering about 76,000 square feet, one event scheduled for this weekend has already been canceled.
Civic center manager Sherman Bass says clean-up could affect other future events as well. Bass said, "This flood was worse than the first flood. We don't even know how much worse yet. We originally hoped to have the cleanup done by July 7th to 9th and we still may be able to make that time frame, I do not know."
Bass says they'll make arrangements if any other events need to be canceled.
The water main that burst is 50-years old.
It's unknown if they'll have to replace it or if it can be repaired again.
Civic center improvements are tentatively scheduled to be a part of another phase of downtown revitalization, but that's further down the road considering phase one hasn't even broken ground yet.
