Childress Chief of Police to Retire

Accepts Position as Investigator for CPS

    The Chief of Police in Childress announces his plans to retire.
    We received Chief Adrian Garcia's resignation letter, today.
    Chief Garcia says he has accepted a position with Child Protective Services as an investigator, and his last day with the Childress Police Department is April 1, 2018. 
    He says in part, "After 22-years of serving as a police officer, it is now time for me to serve the children of Texas."
