TULIA --      The sexual harassment lawsuit against a former Swisher county sheriff can move forward, but, he doesn't have to answer any questions from plaintiffs until his criminal case is completed.
A judge temporarily halted the civil suit against Emilio Benavidez last month citing conflicts with his right not to incriminate himself.
The order was modified this week only preventing Benavidez from giving testimony or answering any questions.
He is being sued by two women who claim they were sexually harassed while working for the sheriff.
Benavidez is also facing a misdemeanor criminal charge of official oppression.
