Clovis, New Mexico -
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE -- The Curry County/Clovis Chamber of Commerce, Committee of Fifty and the Clovis Industrial Development Corporation are scheduled to host Cannon Appreciation Day on Aug. 8 beginning at 11 a.m. here at Unity Park.
All active duty military members, retirees, Department of Defense civilians and dependents are encouraged to attend. The event has celebrated thousands of Cannon Air Commandos over the past 25 years.
A barbeque with free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and beverages will be served, along with more than $4,000 worth of prizes that will be raffled off to Air Commandos throughout the festivities.
