Customers headed to Starbucks to get a caffeine boost will soon be able to get a boost to their cell phone battery.
The coffee retailer is teaming with Duracell to offer wireless recharging of some smartphones.
Duracell Powermat allows phones and tablets to be charged by simply laying them on pads that will be installed in starbucks counters and tables.
Right now, only a limited number of smartphones work with the charging spots unless you have a special case.
Starbucks plans a national rollout of the free service beginning with stores in the San Francisco area.
