Atlanta, Georgia -
Amazon and publishing house Hachette are locked in a book battle.
For months, the two have been fighting over how Amazon prices its books.
The retail giant says since E-book are less expensive to produce and have no resale value, it should pay less for them.
Hachette counters that Amazon is not properly pricing the books.
Now both sides are encouraging readers to write the CEO of the other to help end the standoff.
Writers are also caught in the middle, one authors group took out a two-page ad in the New York Times Sunday saying, "this is no way to treat a business partner."
