Brick Street Cover in Wolfin

AMARILLO -- City of Amarillo reports that a 12 foot by 30 foot section of brick street was covered in asphalt Wednesday.
An asphalt distributor trucks did not get shut off when it got to the end of an asphalt street.
The Street Department had to cover the asphalt with rock, so the cars would not drive through the raw liquid asphalt.
After it cools, the Street Department will go back and clean or replace the brick in this small area.
The Street Department is not intentionally seal coating any brick streets.
