Border Crisis: $3.7 Billion Problem
By Steve Handelsman
(NBC News) President Obama has asked Congress for $3.7 billion in emergency funds to help deal with the growing immigration crisis along the southern border.
The money would be used to beef up the border with more agents, to take better care of the more than 50,000 children currently being detained and for a campaign to convince Central American parents not to send their kids to the united states.
The president is also asking for permission from Congress to deport more children without delays.
