AMARILLO -- When you're shopping this weekend, the Better Business Bureau wants you to keep an eye out for credit card skimmers.
They're small electronic devices that capture credit card or debit card numbers.
After you've used your credit card, the BBB says your card is then run through a skimmer by crooks who then print their own card with your information on it.
Here's how you can protect yourself:
Use a credit card, when possible, rather than a debit card.
Check your activity regularly for any suspicious transactions.
And check your credit report for any new lines of credit you didn't open up.
